We offer a full-service design, manufacturing and logistics solution in Textile/Fashion business. The end-results can range from a unique collection of apparel to a custom-made fashion garment. We do not offer standard solutions but instead create solutions based on customer needs.
OWONO was founded in 2004, as a result of a spin-off of an industrial group , with over sixty years experience. We focus on each customer segment to professionally manage the entire supply chain - from product design and development, through raw material, production, planning, management and quality assurance.
Our operations are guided by ethical principles. We demand and ensure that our production process meets not only high quality standards but also adheres to widely held ethical norms. Regular monitoring of workplace conditions in all our production units ensures that our standards are enforced. We mandate that all factories follow local laws as well as international norms relating to workplace conditions and human rights.
We do not use forced or child labor in our production. We monitor to ensure that factory workers are treated with respect and that they are not subject to physical, sexual or psychological harassment or abuse.
We also require that all workers at subcontracted factories are treated fairly without age, race, gender, religious or other discrimination of any sort.
We also require that the safety of all factory employees is guaranteed by maintaining work areas and machinery in appropriate conditions. We also demand that work weeks never exceed 48 hours, that all workers receive at least one day off per week, and that all are fairly compensated for any overtime.
We give preference to certified factories , it's crucial for us to have a range of factories with certifications such as : SA 8000, OKO TEX, FAMA ( Disney approved factories ), GOTS.
